The next Toppet Hill Event is an afternoon of live music in Dumfries, showcasing a range of styles from 3 bands from across the region, once again a mix of original music and more familiar tunes.
Blanc have been into the studio for a recording session – they’ve got some cracking songs and some great shows coming up. They’re going to open the show before a set from Kurlew, and Dumfries rock/pop veterans Old School.
It’s on Sat 3rd October at the Dumfries Railway Club, doors 3:30 PM, live music 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Tickets are £10. You can pay on the door but space is limited so book online to be sure.
In November, in a new collaboration with The Buccleuch Centre in Langholm, we’re going to try some live music events in the foyer space. First up, November 3rd – Mountain Song, a bluegrass duo touring Scotland before heading south to play some top venues in London. Space is limited once again, so please book ahead.
Then on the 15th November, I’m joining one of the best harmonica players in the UK, Lyndon Anderson, for a show at the Georgian Theatre, Stockton on Tees. Tickets here. We recently had our first show as a duo over in Berwick and it was a blast.
